The plan of the PhD Program is roughly the following: at least 4 courses with final examination (essentially concentrated in the first year), specialized schools and brief visits abroad (to be decided for the first and second year), original Research Activity at least in the third year with a PhD Thesis to be written in English.
At the end of every academic year, the PhD student has to present a brief written summary of the PhD/Research activity and has to present it in a one hour seminar to the other students and to the PhD Board.
