All students are followed in their activities, including possible periods abroad, by a supervisor.

Participation in activities of a seminarial type and national and international summer schools is expected.

The evaluation consists of:

approval of the research project;
presentation of an annual report (written and oral) on the state of advancement of the project;
presentation of a final thesis, which may be written in either English or Italian.
